Pragmatic Play Review

Pragmatic Play

Pragmatic Play is one of the youngest software providers in the online gambling industry and it’s already becoming a force to be reckoned with. Despite being a relatively new player on the market, this company’s gaming library has made its way to many online casinos and is offering players a wide range of interesting titles that have a high average return-to-player percentage.

The games produced by Pragmatic Play feature different themes that are able to attract a wide variety of players. For example, the 5 reel and 20 unique paylines of Great Rhino can take players on a savannah adventure, while the more modern 5-reel Jeker’s Jewels game offers a fun jester theme with colorful graphics. Pragmatic Play also releases a few new slots each month, so there is always something fresh for players to try out.

As a newcomer to the casino gaming space, it was perhaps logical for Pragmatic Play to launch with a set of TopGame games that are well-known to gamblers and offer a solid foundation on which the company could build a better product. Unfortunately, the company’s choice to launch with games from TopGame resulted in a lot of glitches and errors that were not resolved for quite some time.

That’s why it was quite disappointing to see that Yair Hamami, a former TopGame executive and associate of Barzilay, had jumped straight into Pragmatic Play in 2014, a year before the company was supposedly founded. Even more worrying is that he is listed as a director and legal representative of Pragmatic Play in the so-called Paradise Papers offshore structure leak from 2017.
